GTT-07: Trek from Ganden to Samye monastery

Take 4-5 days, Distance: 80km

Day01, Arrive in Lhasa. Meet your local guide and then pick up from the airport or train station to hotel, check in and rest for high altitude.

Day02, Potala palace&square, Norbulingka; Tibet museum and sera monastery

Day03, Drepung monastery, this afternoon visit Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor street.

Day04, Drive from Lhasa to Ganden monastery, it is just 75km far, then do the preparation for trekkign, such as hire yaks and yakman...

Day05, Trek from Ganden monastery to Yamado, overnight in tents

Day06, Yamado to Tsotup chu valley,overnight in tents

Day07, Tsotup chu valley to Herders' camps, camping or continue trek to Samye monastery, arrive at Samye in later afternoon.

Day08, Herders' camps to Samye monastery, overnight in guesthouse

Day09, Samye monastery-Lhasa

Day10,Exit Tibet by train or air and continue to your next destinations.
